Assembly Note

This design uses 3mm diameter magnets to attach the clip to the main body. Print both parts and press-fit magnets into the recesses. Ensure magnet polarity is correct before gluing.

🛠️ How to Use These Files

For 3D Printing

  1. Easiest: Download the .3mf file → Open in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, or Orca Slicer → Print
  2. Universal: Download the .obj file → Import into any slicer → Apply settings from Printing Guide → Print
  3. Keep .mtl files in the same folder as their matching .obj for proper material display

For Modification

  1. Fusion 360: Download the .f3d file → Open directly → Full parametric timeline available
  2. Other CAD: Download the .step file → Import as solid body → Modify geometry
  3. Export your modified design as STL or 3MF for printing

Multi-Part Assemblies

Several designs use a two-part system (main body + clip) connected with 3mm magnets:

  • Print both parts separately
  • Press-fit 3mm diameter × 2mm thick magnets into the recesses
  • Test polarity before gluing—magnets should attract when parts are assembled
  • Use CA glue or epoxy to permanently secure magnets
